Amazingly we have been flying UAV – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for over 25 years!
Yes that’s right, 25 years, long before Drones, we were flying Remote Control – referred to as RC Helicopters in all shapes and sizes. Back then the main power source for the propulsion was a Internal Combustion Nitro Glow engine. Very different to the Brushless Electric motors we see in common use in all the major manufactures drones today.
